Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Melitopol in southern Ukraine, told Newsweek that collaborators in occupied territories have fled under intensified Ukrainian strikes—amid what appears to be a major counter-attack. Kirill Stremousov, the Russia-appointed deputy head of the Kherson region, has fled to Russia, Fedorov said, while Yevhen Balytsky, the head of the Russian-controlled Melitopol administration is now in Crimea, the exiled mayor added. “It’s a great start when collaborators from Melitopol try to run to Crimea,” Fedorov said from the city of Zaporizhzhia close to the front lines on Wednesday....

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin, said Moscow does not accept Biden’s requirement that Russian forces withdraw completely from Ukraine before he speaks with his Russian counterpart. Peskov was responding to Biden’s comment on Thursday that he would talk to Putin about the Ukraine war if the Russian leader is serious about putting an end to the conflict. Biden said that the only way the war could end was for Putin to pull out his troops....

Attention was first brought to Kroger’s move by Judd Legum, founder of the now-defunct site ThinkProgress. Legum tweeted out the move being made by Kroger: “UPDATE: Kroger, the largest supermarket chain in the US, is still not providing all its workers with paid sick leave. British tabloid ‘The Daily Mail’ has produced inconclusive evidence to show that Kohli used to shine the ball with the residue of a sweet in his mouth. The newspaper has claimed that Kohli put his hands deep in his mouth, and then shined one side of the ball during the match which was played between November 9 to 13. “Footage has emerged of India captain Virat Kohli appearing to shine the ball using residue from a sweet during his country’s draw with England in the first Test,” the report in The Daily Mail read....

The specific requirements imply that the studio will continue working on high-end AAA games alongside its smaller projects, as well as suggesting a few potentially interesting tidbits for the future.
